Famous Nigerian singer-turned politician, Banky W recalled how he once prayed to God never to allow him marry someone in the entertainment industry. Revealing this on Wednesday while celebrating his wife, Adesua Etomi on her birthday in a post shared on his Instagram page, Banky W noted that God’s plans are much better than anything we could have dreamt up for ourselves.
“When I was ready for a wife, I specifically told God that I didn’t want someone in the Entertainment Business because my life had been unstable enough. I wanted a 9 am to 5 pm career lady in Banking, Telecommunications, Aviation or Oil & Gas. I didn’t want someone with a career as crazy as mine.
“And Susu told me that when she prayed for her kind of choice of husband, she specifically told God she didn’t want a musician, a politician and lastor. Lol. But here we are, almost six years into our marriage, and it’s crystal clear that God’s plans were much better than anything we could have dreamt for ourselves.
“And so, @adesuaetomi, I want to celebrate you. It’s the ‘you’ for me. Thank you for loving me and birthing Z. Without you, I don’t know where or who I would be. The one thing I have learnt is that absolutely nobody is perfect. But you are just perfect for me. I love you now more than ever. I’ll love you forever.”
And in Ghana, the love journey of Rapper Sarkodie and his wife, Tracy Owusu Addo, otherwise known as Tracy Sarkcess, may not be perfect, but it is one that has been envied by many. The two lovers are currently brimming with love on social media. The Queen in the Land of the Sarkcess Music CEO clocked another year on Friday, March 3.
Celebrating his wife’s special day, the most decorated African rapper took to social media to eulogize her.
In a romantic way, the “Can’t Let You Go” crooner told Mrs. Addo how special she is to him and how lucky he is to have her. “I celebrate you every day for just being my wifey, but today is a special one… On the day you came into this world… Thanks for everything, my bosslady, Tracy Owusu Addo. Happy Birthday,” he wrote.
