“Truth in defence of ethical standards”
When we launched the Nigerian Newsguide in 2008, it was because we discovered that Nigerians generally and particularly the Southerners were hungry and agitating for a new style of journalism that would dig deep into issues and analyze them in a way the ordinary man on the street would understand and so fully participate in taking decisions about his present and his future circumstances. We have striven to give our people that alternative. Apart from breaking news promptly, our editorials are incisive and purpose-driven. We keep covering events in government, in the private sector, in religious circles and much more. Our features have come a long way to point the direction to our people as they march courageously towards the building of an egalitarian and God-fearing society. So, do you have a story to share with us? Do you have a notice you want made public? Do you have a special feature you would want covered? Do you need your change of name registered with the media? If so, we are here for you. Just walk into our office and have a chat with the Publisher or any of our editors and we will take it from there.
