Following the creation of Imo State from the defunct East Central State in 1976, the Imo Broadcasting Service (IBC) was established by edict No. 15 of 1976. We shaped broadcasting in Imo State yesterday. We are shaping it today. And we will shape it tomorrow. We are about the oldest Radio/TV station in the state and still going strong. We take our professional commitment to entertain, educate and inform our people very seriously and that has been the secret of our success over the years.
